Your kit comes with a season of tournaments

The first meeting

EKANA shows you a finished page in your colours: a season of tournaments with its sign-up and the shirt. You say which pitches and hours are free, and your club and EKANA agree together which groups the tournaments are for.

The calendar

All the season's tournaments are announced together at the start, one for each group. Each tournament has its own theme, its own rules and its own shirt. They run on as few full days as possible: where the hours allow, several tournaments share one day, and your cafeteria, the sponsors and the food trucks are set up for a full day, not every week.

Sign-up

Players sign up and pay on the page before a deadline, as a team or alone. Whoever comes alone is placed in a team. Each player gives a shirt size and accepts the terms of the tournament; a minor is signed up by a parent, who gives consent. Your club spreads the word with the flyers and posts EKANA gives you. Nobody at your club collects sizes or money.

A tournament runs when enough teams have paid by the deadline. If it falls short, it merges with another tournament on the same day or moves to the next date, and every player keeps their place or gets their money back.

The shirts

Once sign-up closes, EKANA makes the shirts, only the paid ones. One design for the whole tournament, in your club's colours, and each team in its own combination of them, taken from your home and away kits, so no two teams play in the same colour. Every shirt carries the tournament's name and date.

The tournament days

One person runs each day, with a referee. A scoreboard and a timer make each game look organised. Fixtures and results are on the page. Your cafeteria is open, and sponsors and food trucks come when there are any. The winning team gets free entry to the next tournament.

After each tournament

Photos and results go on the page. Players keep their shirts. The next date is already on the calendar, and the winners are already entered in it.
